U.s. inflation reverses Course, 0.3% in July

The cost of living in the United States rose in a 0.3 percent in July, the Labour Department reported on Friday, ending three months straight decline in prices to consumers.

The gain to U.S. inflation during the past 12 months by 1.2% and can alleviate concerns of some economists that the world
largest economy is threatened with a bout of deflation.

Prices to the consumer had fallen 0.1 percent in June, fell 0.2 percent in May and decreased 0.1 percent in April.

Excluding more volatile food and energy costs, prices consumers gained 0.1 per cent and have risen only 0.9 percent in the last 12 months.
